SSC Tuatara – Reviews

SSC has teamed up with Nelson Racing Engines to make the engine, Linder Power Systems to make parts of the engine, and Automatic to make the 7-speed automated manual transmission. Later, it was found that the transmission was a 7-speed automated manual made by CIMA. The car can be driven in three different ways: “Sport”, “Track”, and “Lift.”

In Sport mode, the front ride height is 4 inches (102 mm) and the back ride height is 4.5 inches (114 mm). In Track mode, the front ride height drops to 2.75 inches (70 mm), and the rear ride height drops to 3.75 inches (95 mm). The Lift mode is made to keep the car’s undercarriage from getting damaged when you drive over speed bumps or driveways. SSC Tuatara top competition is Lamborghini Sian Roadster

Safety Features

Under the Tuatara’s carbon fiber skin is a strong carbon fiber monocoque that was designed with safety, durability, performance, and looks in mind. The monocoque combines all of the important sub-assemblies into one piece.

Tuatara also follows the shape of the ergonomic cockpit, which is the area around the driver and passenger. The light weight frame is made entirely of carbon fiber.

Its systematic crash structures and durable design make it safe in every way. The beautiful carbon fiber construction was not hidden. There are places on the car where the monocoque can be seen, both subtly and clearly.
