He received his secondary education at Jefferson High. After that, he received his education at Utah State University as well as the University of San Francisco. Ime began his career as a basketball player by making his debut in the NBDL or G League in 2022. This was the same year that the Charleston Lowgators selected him with the 39th overall choice. In a game of a similar kind, which took place on the 14th of January 2004 in Charleston, he faced off against the Los Angeles Lakers.
