Muhammad Al-Qahtani, a Saudi businessman who allegedly lives in the United Arab Emirates, was giving a lecture at the Arab-African Conference in Cairo on Monday when he seemed to pass out and fell over backwards.

It has been stated that Mr. Al-Qahtani, who serves as the board chairman of Al-Salam Holding Company, has held a number of honorary appointments as a goodwill ambassador.

According to Arabi21, he was giving a speech at the event when he passed out, which was hosted “in commemoration of the successes of [Egyptian] President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.” When he fell out, he was reportedly speaking at the event.

He is said to have referred to Mohammed bin Zayed, the president of the United Arab Emirates, as a “dean of mankind and a man of peace” just before he passed out.

After being moved to a separate room by conference security, an Egyptian YouTuber by the name of Abdullah Elshrif stated that Mr. Al-Qahtani had died dead shortly after the move.
