Diaz started his professional career in the Colombian Second Division at Barranquilla. He then moved on to Junior, where he won the Categora Primera A, one Copa Colombia, and one Superliga Colombiana. Diaz retired from professional soccer in 2011. Dáz made his senior team debut on April 26, 2016, against Deportivo Pereira at home in a Categora Primera B match. He entered the game in the second half as a replacement in the team’s 2–1 defeat.
