He said, “There is no direct proof that they (Samirah and the two teens) committed the offense.” He was referring to the fact that there was no physical evidence. He said that the prosecution “assumed” that Samirah and the teenagers were there when Nazrin passed away. In addition to this, he said that the prosecution made an attempt to incriminate Samirah by asserting that she did not contact the fire department and was not “sad” when her husband passed away.

“However, her acts were only the prosecution’s view,” he stated. “There is no evidence to support this assertion.”
